Tent poles, which are used as major support components of camps/tent, are manufactured firstly by pultrusion process with fiberglass as reinforcement and polymer resin as matrix. Compared with aluminum poles, FRP tent poles possess advantages of low cost, light, never-rusting, bright colors, excellent elastic, etc. They are the first choice of tourism tent.

   Actually, pultruding FRP poles is only the first procession step, before delivered there are more than 11 steps: chopping at required length, tapering at end, cleaning and drying, polishing with wax or caotings, sticking connectors or ends, fixing with elastic, trimming elastic ends, folding and package, etc. From pultrusion through to package, each step needs strict quality control. All these are finished by hand. Tent poles are really labour-intensive goods.
